Women For Liberty Africa started as an idea by Lilian David after completion of a sets of libertarian assignments in the Atlas Network Academy in 2018.
Ponmile Shittu immediately joined the vision. Gradually more people joined the vision and with the help of the ATLAS Network and other international partners,the think tank grew into a community.<\/p>

In January 2020, R. A. Lawal-Oyedeji, Esq. ACArb a Chartered arbitrator and barrister at law joined the vision as a championing Advocate.
Rashidat is a member of Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators & International Federation of Women Lawyers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lilian David Hadijat Ilavbarhe is a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, who is interested in the ideas of liberty, individualism and free trade. She is a Championing advocate for WFLA (Women For Liberty Africa) her think-tank. She works as the events and welfare director in the organization, Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) Nigeria and because of her love for charity and women liberty, she got an appointment with Tender hearts Foundation as their project Director. She is involved in student activism, and women advocacy. She is a member of the alumni community of Students for Liberty after long service as an advanced leader in the African Students for Liberty (ASFL) board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lilian is an alumnus of students for Liberty and also an Atlas Network Academy graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She renders services as an NGO strategist, an Event\/Project manager, Global speaker and personal development coach in her home country, Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has earned so many recognition awards and certificates which continue to encourage and stir her interests\/participation towards improving and championing the liberty course wherever she finds herself. She has attended and organized various libertarian conferences, workshops, seminars, and leadership summit\/ entrepreneurship programs in and outside Nigeria as she is a certified Event planner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has also given various motivational speeches on equal rights, ideas of liberty, free market, economic freedom, entrepreneurship amongst others.She has made it a lifelong goal to see women achieve great goals and stay free from stereotypic barriers that hinders their progress and would always motivate other youths to join the campaign for a free society.<\/p>\n

OLUWAPONMILE ORIJA SHITTU<\/h2>\n

Oluwaponmile Orija Shittu is a graduate of food science and technology from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta.  She is the author of the literature book ‘The rough path’. She was a writing fellow for African liberty and was responsible for several published articles about economic freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ponmile is an alumnus of students for liberty and also an Atlas Network Academy graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She currently works as a brand strategist and social media manager. Her main interests are women empowerment, writing, peace, and gender, social media, public speaking, print media, and journalism. She has written for several newspapers, magazines, and websites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She once served as a local coordinator for Students for Liberty (SFL) and has always pushed for women empowerment and girl empowerment. She co-founded a press group on campus Topnotch Writers Organization (TWO) and was responsible for several debates and press releases while on campus.  She has also given various motivational speeches on equal rights, female empowerment, economic growth, ideas of liberty, economic freedom, entrepreneurship amongst others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RASHIDAT ABIOLA LAWAL-OYEDEJI<\/h2>\n

Rashidat Abiola Lawal-Oyedeji is an Islamic Scholar, a Chartered Arbitrator, and a Lawyer.  She is an alumna of both University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria.  She is an untiring advocate of civil liberty and unconditional self-acceptance. Thus, she is passionate about the ideas of liberty, re-educating and helping people; especially teenagers and women that have experienced any form of oppression\/discrimination personally or otherwise to understand and achieve their ‘individual goals and liberty’. Rashidat is an associate member at the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. She did not only take up leadership roles as an undergraduate, she also volunteered for reputable organizations such as SFL, Values Volunteers, LRA Advocates, e.t.c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a libertarian, she championed the cause by taking up leadership roles; firstly as a Local coordinator for Students for Liberty Africa in 2019; the Ogun State Coordinator for ASFL and subsequently, the Team Lead ASFL (Southwest II) in 2020. She is currently one of the distinguished championing advocates of WFLA (Women Aid Initiative).<\/p>\n

Moronfolu Adeniyi is the African Development Consultant for Students for sensible drug policy International. Moronfolu believes in the ideas of individual liberty, justice and equality which he regards as the precursor towards a stable economy and prosperous society , he promotes mutual respect among students and young people in Africa and a front runner and a voice in drug policy reforms in Africa . Odunola Oladejo (she\/her\/hers) is a Social Justice Advocate and is continually imparting knowledge through her participation and activism in both social justice-based non-profits and academia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a licensed Nigerian lawyer and earned a Master of Arts degree in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies at Oregon State University, U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oyetunji Barakat Abisola is a graduate of Osun state university, Ejigbo Campus , Who is currently doing her Masters in MSc. International Business. She so much loves creativity and loves to try new things out<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO, O’Pastry cakes N’ more, giving back to society by training a lot of people and making them be their own boss. Abisola’s love for humanity makes her join (WFLA)women for liberty Africa, where is currently the welfare director of the great organization. Where she gets to help in monitoring and evaluating resources devoted to the provision of welfare, any social events and other social services.
