Held at the heart of Abeokuta, 2023 the first women without woes seminar held on a Friday 24th March, 2023.
Championing Advocate and pioneer member, Ponmile Shittu took the opening speech and talked about the success stories of the organization. Afterwards, Educationist, Mrs Funke Adekitan spoke on mentorship for women and how they can grow their careers.
Another invited speaker, Ambassador Habeeb Whyte spoke on the impact of advocacy in the women movement. While during a panel session moderated by Oluwaponmile Shittu
4 panelists, Engineer Adekitan, Amb Habeeb Whyte, Mrs Bisola Ojo and Mrs Adekitan discussed on the theme (The influence of the media, healthful living, marital wholesomeness and skill acquisition on advocacy, women empowerment, and human rights).
There was business and skill expo at the event. An hat maker and a tie and dye maker displayed there wares.
Participants were interviewed after the event and they testified that they have really gotten new insights to live by. There were 51 participants in all.
